Vision

A center established with a vision to bring all academic, research and training activities
relating to existing, contemporary and futuristic law under a single, unique and independent umbrella
of department in the Maharashtra National Law University.

Objectives

The center runs with threefold Objectives:

1. Advanced Legal Studies

• Centre aims to facilitate Advanced Legal Studies for students, professionals, research scholars, laypersons, and all stakeholders in society through various sources such as academic programs including advanced short-term and long-term certificate courses, diplomas, degrees, and specialization in various contemporary and advanced subjects in law.

2. Legal Training

• The Centre provides theoretical and practical training to students, professionals, research scholars, corporates, investigating agencies, and other executives with the aid and consultation of experts, luminaries, academic institutions, and government agencies.

3. Legal Research

• Encourage and promote high-quality legal research. The Centre organizes seminars, webinars, symposiums, conferences, paper presentations, and publications on contemporary, advanced, and futuristic legal topics.
• Provide consultancy, support, and guidance to those in need, and help society seek social justice through socio-legal programs across educational institutions, professional organizations, government departments, and for the common public.
• All activities relating to legal research, training, studies, and consultancy are implemented independently and in coordination with other Centers under MNLU.
